Research Summary
G. Charles Dismukes is Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Rutgers University on the faculties of the Chemistry & Chemical Biology Department and the Waksman Institute of Microbiology. He is a member of the Rutgers Energy Institute (REI), and the graduate training faculties of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Microbiology and Biochemistry.
Research Areas: Inorganic and physical chemistry with applications to heterogeneous catalysis, homogeneous catalysis, biological catalysis, photosynthesis, renewable solar-based fuel production, and tools for investigating these systems.
