Enantioselective Approach to Isoindolinones and related Heterocycles
Isoindolinones and other related heterocycles represent an important class of synthetically useful compounds with impressive bilogical activities. In this talk, I will be delineating our efforts towards the enantioselective approach to these useful moities. The approach would involve asymmetric catalysis using chiral Lewis acids,1 chiral Brønsted acids,2 and chiral organocatalysts.3
