Our primary objective is to provide conferees with the highest quality scientific program in an equally inspiring setting. The Organizing Committee has selected Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder as the official meeting site for The 69TH Calorimetry Conference. This newly constructed hotel and entertainment resort is situated on native Indian Territory overlooking the majestic Pojoaque valley. The Native American Pueblo design incorporates the latest amenities and innovative technologies that provide our conferees with an unrivaled resort experience.
Each guest room is accented in southwestern hues and equipped with a balcony that features a panoramic view of the northern New Mexico high desert vista. The luxury resort features a culinary mecca of southwestern themed restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, 27 hole world-class golf course, state-of-the-art sauna/spa facility, 24-hour fitness/workout center, and casino gaming area conveniently located on a separate level.
Colleagues are encouraged to invite family members and/or accompanying guests to enjoy all of the amenities that Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder offers including first class resort accommodations with complimentary wireless access.
The Calorimetry Conference has negotiated an extremely attractive rate on guest accommodations at the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder during the official meeting dates of July 06 - 10, 2014. The single/double occupancy rate of USD 119 per night for a deluxe King (or Two Queens) with Balcony represents a substantial discount relative to the standard rate offered at this resort during the summer season. Attendees must reserve their guest rooms at Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder by JUNE 01, 2014 to ensure accommodations at these specially negotiated conference prices.
Sunday - Thursday | Occupancy |
USD 119 / night | Single - King with Balcony |
USD 119 / night | Double - Two Queens with Balcony |
Conferees may reserve their accommodations by clicking the HILTON SANTA FE BUFFALO THUNDER - ONLINE RESERVATIONS box which accesses a special link on the resort web site that is dedicated exclusively for registrants of The 69TH Calorimetry Conference. The reservation system automatically populates the contracted group rate so conferees are not required to enter a discount code. The Organizing Committee advises conference participants to secure their accommodations prior to the reservation deadline as we cannot guarantee availability of rooms at the contracted rate past the cutoff date.
STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS
Young scientists represent the future of research at the interface of core disciplines and emerging technologies. The Conference Organizing Committee strongly advocates student participation at CALCON 2014 by encouraging principal investigators to register their younger colleagues. The 69TH Calorimetry Conference is subsidizing student registration fees (i.e., USD 295) and arranging shared accommodations to demonstrate our organization's ongoing commitment to actively promote young scientist participation.
Students may elect to share a room at the double occupancy rate of USD 119 per night (i.e., USD 59.50 apiece), the triple occupancy rate of USD 139 per night (i.e., USD 46.33 apiece), or the quad occupancy rate of USD 159 per night (i.e., USD 39.75 apiece) to reduce their overall lodging rates. The combination of reduced registration fees and shared accommodations allows students to attend The 69TH Calorimetry Conference at an affordable rate of USD 592.50 (e.g., USD 297.50 for five nights of double occupancy lodging plus USD 295.00 conference registration fee). Similarly, conferees traveling on a restricted budget may select the double occupancy rate to attend CALCON 2014 at a reasonable cost of USD 892.50 (e.g., USD 297.50 for five nights double occupancy lodging plus USD 595.00 conference registration fee). Conferees are advised to reserve accommodations early to ensure availability of their preferred lodging option.
