Our primary objective is to provide conferees with the highest quality scientific program in an equally inspiring setting. The Organizing Committee has selected Turtle Bay Resort as our official meeting site for The Seventy First Calorimetry Conference. This luxury resort is situated on the tranquil North Shore of Oahu with spectacular panoramic views of Kawela and Turtle Bay. In addition to magnificent beachfront property, the luxury resort features landscaped pools, championship golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding, a surfing school, hiking and mountain bike trails, and world-class dining. Colleagues are encouraged to invite family members and/or accompanying guests to enjoy all of the amenities that Turtle Bay Resort offers on its extensive 880 acre property.

TurtleBayResort

Turtle Bay Resort incorporates the latest amenities and innovative technologies that provide our conferees with an unrivaled meeting experience. The Calorimetry Conference has negotiated an attractive rate on guest accommodations during the official meeting dates of 30 July - 04 August 2016. The single/double occupancy rate of USD 240 for Run of Ocean accommodations represents a substantial discount relative to the standard rate offered at this luxury resort during the summer tourist season. Conferees traveling on a restricted budget may select the double occupancy rate to attend CALCON 2016 at a reasonable cost of USD 1295.00 (e.g., USD 600.00 for five nights shared lodging plus USD 695.00 conference registration). Attendees must reserve their guest rooms at Turtle Bay Resort no later than 01 JULY 2016 to ensure accommodations at these specially negotiated conference prices.

30 JULY - 04 AUGUST Occupancy
USD 240 / night Single
USD 240 / night Double

Conferees may reserve their accommodations by clicking the TURTLE BAY RESORT RESERVATIONS box which accesses a special link on the hotel web site that is dedicated exclusively for registrants of The Seventy First Calorimetry Conference. The reservation system automatically populates the contracted group rate so conferees are not required to enter a discount code. The Organizing Committee advises conference participants to ensure availability of their preferred lodging option by securing accommodations early. The Calorimetry Conference cannot guarantee availability of rooms at the contracted rate past the reservation cutoff deadline.

STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS

Young scientists represent the future of research at the interface of core disciplines and emerging technologies. The Conference Organizing Committee strongly advocates student participation at CALCON 2016 by encouraging principal investigators to register their younger colleagues. The Seventy First Calorimetry Conference is subsidizing student registration fees (i.e., USD 350) and arranging shared accommodations to demonstrate our organization's ongoing commitment to actively promote young scientist participation.

Students may elect to share a room at the double occupancy rate of USD 240 per night (i.e., USD 120.00 apiece), the triple occupancy rate of USD 290 per night (i.e., USD 96.67 apiece), or the quad occupancy rate of USD 340 per night (i.e., USD 85.00 apiece) to reduce their overall lodging expenses. The combination of reduced registration fees and shared accommodations allows students to attend The Seventy First Calorimetry Conference at an affordable rate of USD 950 (e.g., USD 600.00 for five nights double occupancy plus USD 350.00 conference registration).
