Job Description: Seeking an Outside Technical Salesperson for a New Jersey based ESOP business located in Scotch Plains. The candidate will be selling analytical instrumentation to the academic market and gas generator products to the academic and commercial laboratory market. These products are industry leaders and well regarded in the analytical, R&D and QC laboratory environments. This is an exclusive territory that covers NJ, NYC & Long Island. The candidate will be tasked to support existing accounts as well as develop new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and networking. An understanding of basic analytical chemistry measurement techniques such as gas & liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy is preferred. The candidate will have a defined sales territory and sales quota objectives.

  • B.S. or M.S in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience with GC, HPLC, CG-MS preferred
  • Self- starter & self- motivator
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office
