Apply to the Graduate Program

Admission to the graduate program in chemistry is based on careful evaluation of scholastic record, letters of recommendation, and performance on the Graduate Record Examinations. The application form is available online from the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions (program code 16160). An application fee of $70 USD is required before any application is reviewed.

Application Materials

A GRE subject test, in chemistry or an appropriate related discipline, is recommended - particularly for international applicants. Applicants from countries where English is not the native language, and for whom English has not been the primary language of instruction for their undergraduate or Master's degree education, must also submit satisfactory scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
