;
‘Can we talk Chemistry?’ is a forum in which several organic faculty
and graduate students, postdocs, and advanced undergraduates gather
to discuss common interests in chemistry.
Taken together, our research spans a wide range:
-
Quantitative Experimental and Computational Analysis
-
Reaction Discovery and Development
-
Catalysts, Synthetic Methods
-
Synthesis and Study of Molecules that are of Theoretical or Biomedical Interest, including Biopolymers, Drugs, Probes for Understanding Cellular and Disease Processes, and Natural products
Each of us has the goal of obtaining and refining expertise in at least
one of these areas. We also have a common trait: curiosity. We gather
weekly to discuss new ideas, meet with colleagues, and visit with
scholars from other departments. In the process we deepen our
knowledge and strengthen our group, division, and department.
You are invited to join us – and we look forward to talking chemistry.
